Squeezing all these activities into one weekend may require some diligent planning. However, you don’t have to do them all in one trip and may want to space them out over the course of a season.
A trip to Mont Tremblant should be just as relaxing as it is filled with fun activities.
1. Canoe Mont Tremblant
There’s nothing more Canadian in the summer than canoeing, so if your trip’s purpose is to see the real Canada, hop in a canoe and head down river. The Rouge River is heaven on earth for canoers and provides endless views of some of the country’s most beautiful scenery. Pack a lunch and have a picnic anywhere along the 12 km shoreline. Or visit Lac Tremblant for a more relaxing paddle and simply soak up the beauty of the environment.
2. Ice Skating Mont Tremblant
The winter months are perfect to get the family together and hit the local skating rinks; there are a few to choose from. The Pedestrian Village Rink is my favourite and is located next to Saint Bernard Chapel at the base of the Pedestrian Village. Skate rentals are complimentary for resort guests but can also be rented. If you have your own skates, check out these other skating options as well;
- Lac du Sommet (near entrance to Bel-Air Tremblant)

If adrenaline floats your boat, check out the Tag Karting Academy for local go karting. This 1.3 km long track combines intricate turns with long straightaways to test all levels of drivers. Their experienced staff will train and instruct beginners and lend a hand to experienced drivers who want to improve their personal best lap time.

Preparing For Your Trip
When I look for things to do in my destination, I always have a look at Viator, GetYourGuide, Manawa, Civitatis and sometimes even Expedia.
It’s first off a great way to find out what there is to do, but always a quick and easy method to book cheaply and efficiently with these renowned platforms.
Need a place to sleep? I find most of my accommodations on Booking.com but I also use Hotels.com for their rewards program (11th free night) as well as Expedia. When booking smaller places in Quebec, you might not find them here and need to contact them directly.
Looking for a cheap flight to the Laurentians through Montreal? Have a look on Cheapoair or Skyscanner I use regularly.
Once you’re there, rent a car to roam free with DiscoverCars, AutoEurope or RentalCars or hop on a bus around Gatineau, Montreal, Quebec, and surrounding cities with Busbud.
