Marais du Nord

At only twenty minutes from Quebec City, the Marais du Nord is an idyllic spot for birdwatchers. This peaceful site offers well maintained, easily accessible trails for observing a wide variety of birds, including ducks, eagles and great blue herons.

Also keep an eye out for turtles, beavers and frogs in their natural habitat. During the summer, kayak and canoe rentals are also available for a great immersion experience with wetlands wildlife.

Cap Tourmente National Wildlife Area

Located on the Côte-de-Beaupré, the Cap Tourmente National Wildlife area reserve is renowned for the spectacular gatherings of snow geese during their spring and autumn migration.

It’s also home to a diverse range of birds and wildlife, from white-tailed deer to black bear. With its varied trails, this area is perfect for hikers and wildlife watchers.

Bic National Park
